Nutrition

These days more than ever, there is a conscious awareness that good nutrition is one of the keys to good health.  The phrase ‘You are what you eat’ is taught to us from an early age.
Whilst most of us ‘know’ what foods are more nutritious, our experience working with people has shown us that TIME is one of the most important factors when it comes to current food choices.

This Century, the largest growth area in the food industry has been convenience or ‘ready-to-go’ fast foods.  Whilst people are trying more to be aware of the things they eat, they are also battling with the need for quick snacks and non-time consuming products.  Food labels are becoming more complex, with advertising and gimmicks such as 'LITE' and 'LOW FAT'.

We know when tailoring a diet plan for someone, we need to consider a person’s LIFESTYLE.  On the other hand, we don’t believe in prescribing a person three meal replacements a day- and only allowing them fruit as snacks- this is not a Lifestyle choice either.  We believe that in order to be effective and long term, a BALANCE must be struck.  We aim to educate people on the food choices they make, so that they can learn to select foods with more confidence.  We will ensure that the program designed for you is applicable and achievable- today, and for tomorrow as well…
